Trenchant research and writing, winning coverage in key media, engagement strategies to address controversy, plans and facilitated meetings that embolden: these are some of the services that distinguish Boothroyd Communications. Recently, we've:

  • Spearheaded the creation and launch of EcoAnalytics, a cooperative market research initiative, for leading Canadian environmental organizations – Greenpeace, Equiterre, Pembina and David Suzuki Foundation, etc. – and researchers at the Université de Montréal.
  • Written the website for the World Health Organization’s first air-quality guidelines on household fuel combustion – a source of pollution that is the world’s greatest environmental health risk.
  • Worked with an award-winning digital game designer on an innovative strategy for the Canadian Wildlife Federation to engage thousands of children and adults in a discussion about conserving the boreal forest – home to endangered caribou, as well as the Alberta tar sands.

As a facilitator, Jim is particularly skilled in helping a diverse set of groups find common points of interest and productive ways to collaborate.
